THE ELEVATOR BOY
A cubist figure framed inside the geometry of an elevator. Bare-shouldered, dark-haired, eyes meeting the viewer's. Sharp art-deco rays burst above the doorway in red, amber, and emerald; the call panel glows at the right edge. The composition holds the figure between threshold and gaze, neither stepping forward nor retreating.
The painting is used as cover art for the first release of Elevator Boy: An Otherworldly Memoir by David M. Stern(2025).
